What is the definition of a champion? A champion is a person who advocates on the behalf of others. They are dedicated, consistent, determined, and optimistic. A TRUE Champion goes above and beyond even through adversity. They find yes. They go the extra mile for their patients, their teammates, and their neighbor. A True Champion shows initiative, integrity, accountability and reliability. As True Health celebrates its 40th anniversary, they would like to recognize their True Champions.
Joseph Lebert is the Clinical Lead at our Sanford center and oversees all clinical operations. He earned his practical nursing degree from Taylor College in Belleview, Florida and graduated as class valedictorian. Prior to his role at True Health, Joseph has worked in guest services for the Hyatt, as a Licensed Practical Nurse for Citrus Memorial, and as a Clinical Lead for the Mountain Family Health Center. While working at Mountain Family Health Center, he found extreme joy and fulfillment in helping under-privileged families; which inspired him to join True Health.
Joseph is passionate about his staff and loves teaching preventative care to his patients. When not working, you can find Joseph at the beach with his family or grill for his loved ones.
When asked why he began working in healthcare, Joseph said: “I felt guided to this path.”
True Health is honored to name Joseph Lebert, LPN the 2017 Clinical Champion.
