Healthy Start Coalition of Seminole County Transitions Direct Services to True Health[Seminole County, FL] The Healthy Start Coalition of Seminole County (Coalition), a nonprofit organization incorporated in 2014, will transition its Healthy Start Program to True Health, located at 4930 E. Lake Mary Blvd, Sanford, FL 32771, on July 1, 2017.
The mission of Healthy Start Coalition of Seminole County is to ensure a system of care that offers families access to prenatal care and all infants access to services that promote optimal growth and development. “Every mother that we engage and educate, moves Seminole County one step closer to making life better for our families. We embody our logo; we are a garden of bright flowers, which need all the elements to grow and flourish. True Health’s comprehensive care and immersion in the community further supports our initiative of maintaining the wellbeing of our families in Seminole County,” said the Executive Director of The Healthy Start Coalition of Seminole County, Thelisha Thomas.
True Health provides comprehensive primary care, pediatric, and obstetric and gynecological (OB/GYN) services within their Sanford center. Latrice Stewart, Chief Executive Officer of True Health, said: “The Healthy Start Program is a great addition to our current scope of services. The partnership will allow members of the community to receive wraparound care designed to meet the individual needs of each family.” True Health strives to improve the health of pregnant women, promote infant health and growth, as well as reduce low birth weights of babies and infant mortality.
