
2017 Board Champion: Mr. Dennis Dolgner

What is the definition of a champion? A champion is a person who advocates on the behalf of others. They are dedicated, consistent, determined, and optimistic. A TRUE Champion goes above and beyond even through adversity. They find yes. They go the extra mile for their patients, their teammates, and their neighbor. A True Champion shows initiative, integrity, accountability and reliability. As True Health celebrates its 40th anniversary, they would like to recognize their True Champions.
Dennis Dolgner has served on True Health’s Board of Directors since 1996 and has volunteered with the organization weekly since 1998. After serving in the United States Navy, Mr. Dolgner worked sales, marketing, and public relations. In 1974, Mr. Dolgner worked for the Seminole County Port Authority as the Administrative Assistant and later became the Administrator. Prior to his retirement in 2006, he was responsible for initiating the construction and lease of a 350,000-square foot Small Business Incubation Center and an 180-ship marina. Mr. Dolgner is committed to keeping True Health in a positive growth scenario and allowing expansion of services for an ever-changing market. He has been an advocate for this organization and continues to build new partnerships with community leaders.
