What is the definition of a champion? A champion is a person who advocates on the behalf of others. They are dedicated, consistent, determined, and optimistic. A TRUE Champion goes above and beyond even through adversity. They find yes. They go the extra mile for their patients, their teammates, and their neighbor. A True Champion shows initiative, integrity, accountability and reliability. As True Health celebrates its 40th anniversary, they would like to recognize their True Champions.
Susan Kaeser has been with True Health since 2007 and is a Family Nurse Practitioner at our Alafaya center. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee and a Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida (UCF). Prior to True Health, she worked in Florida Hospital’s critical care unit and home health department.
She has completed two triathlons, written articles that were published, and loves to teach piano. She is the founder of the Community Care for the Elderly Program and has organized educational workshops. Susan has a zest for life and enjoys gardening, kayaking, singing classic rock with her husband on their Harleys, and spending time with her granddaughters.
When asked what made her want to be in healthcare, Susan said: “I enjoy the challenges of family practice, along with the variety of people, problems, stories, and solutions they face daily.”
True Health is honored to name Susan Kaeser, ARNP the 2017 Provider Champion.
