What is A Crucial Catch?
A Crucial Catch is a campaign to raise awareness about the importance of breast cancer screening for women, especially over the age of 40. This campaign is organized by the NFL and the American Cancer Society to help raise awareness and save lives. A Crucial Catch has been responsible for over 10,000 free or low cost breast cancer screenings. Also, providing education to 72,000 women on the importance of regular breast cancer screening. In 2014, the event was expanded to all NFL teams in an effort to reach more women in under-served communities.
This event is your day to fight breast cancer! On Tuesday, October 25th stop by our Hoffner location between 9:00am-2:00pm. Come together with NFL’s Tampa Bay Buccaneers mascot and cheerleaders, family, and friends in your community to learn about how you can reduce your risk of breast cancer.
A special thanks to Simon Med Imaging for making this idea a reality by providing mammograms for our patients. They also share our mission of offering quality service at affordable prices.
